I did almost perfect on the practical exam!
Some stats per the instructors:
- My braking reaction time was the lowest time the instructor recalls ever recording. My front wheel stopped right at the first measurement marking.
- I had the fastest exit and straight speeds.
- The one point against me was that I put my left foot down during the sharp right turn from a stop.
TL;DR - I was freaking out over nothing, apparently I’ll be a pretty decent rider!
Original Post:
I passed my written test with a 100%! Ironically, I did better here than on any car written test I’ve taken.
The practical riding test comes after a few more hours of practice. So long as I don’t drop the Rebel, I should pass with flying colours!

Congratulations. I’ve always wanted to learn to ride a motorcycle. Not that I’d ride one every day, but it’s a skill I’d like to possess.
